The video is from an old 8mm movie I made in the late 70's on the Illinois River at Peoria. The riverboat in the video, The Julia Belle Swain, was actually steam powered but had a boiler that was heated by an oil fire rather then wood. A well know pilot on the steamboat was, John Hartford, a song writer, singer, banjo and fiddle player that appeared on TV and made many recordings. The music is a recording of a medley of the songs "Bill Bailey and Bourbon Street Parade" that
