  • have you tried the blendtec twister jar yet?

  • The current twister jar is made from Polycarbonate. Im waiting until they have the BPA free version.

  • Hi I was just wondering how I would clean my Nutmilk bag? Is there a certain way i'm supposed to clean it good?

  • You can throw it in the clothes washer. I generally hand wash it really well using a scrub brush, and turn it inside out after each use and hang it up to dry.

  • Just wondering, do you need different blades for wet and dry with the VS and the 5200?

  • Yes, Vitamix does offer different containers for wet and dry processing. That being said, in my opinion, the "dry" infers that the wet container will not grind dry stuff. I have many times ground whole flax seeds into powder in the vitamix and it does grind other dry goods.. That being said, if you want to grind grain into flour- you should get they dry container. it was designed for just that.

  • TurboBlend VS landed today! Thanks for the great information and great service. You got that thing out to me really fast, and it works great! Thanks again to you John and the rest @ discount juicers!

  • the vitamix turboblend VS is the perfect blender for a raw vegan life style. Nut butters...wow...excellent, with a 7 year warranty. Can't beat that. I'm sold and will get one. thanks for the video and great presentation energy.

  • I had vitamix and had been using it for 13yrs still work very good.

  • Thanks for this video! I have been trying to figure out the difference between all the models. I didn't see much difference on the vitamix website, but you confirmed my suspicion that there really is no difference between the machines. It's the additional stuff that makes the difference.

  • John's favorite lines:

    "Without further ado"

    "This is basically"

    "You know"

"We have a very special treat"

Fun video's just the same. Keep up the good work John!

  • "Why would they have a different model number?" Because Vitamix SUCKS!!!
