  • Just to think, the night before he took his life my mother called me and ask me what was I doing, I told her I was enjoying some of the old Soul Train dance shows on youtube, cracking up at the way we use to dress, and all the great things Don Cornelius did, then she called me the following morning to tell me he took his life. Don you will never be forgotten, RIP, I wish you love peace and soul.

  • Soul Train was a staple in my house from the time I was around 11 years old until my late teens.

I was the soulful little white boy that loved R&B music, the clothes and picked up all the dance moves by watching the soul train gang every week. I still enjoy viewing the old episodes online.

Don's show forever changed my life. He was a pioneer in the television industry. Thanks for all the memories. You will not be forgotten.
