When he heard the news of the massacre at Ft. Hood, Solomon Hamideh's reaction was no different than most.
"Everyone is disgusted," said Hamideh, President of the San Antonio Islamic Center. "I don't know an intellectual person that sees the killings and stuff and does not react to it with anger and disgust."
Hamideh said every Muslim he's talked with feels the same.
"Our feeling is exactly the same as what any normal person would feel," said Sarwat Husain, President of the San Antonio chapter of the Council of American-Islamic Relations.
However, Husain said because the of suspect's name and because of what he wore, many in the San Antonio Muslim community are worried about backlash.
"Somebody will take a swing at somebody, definitely that can happen," said Husain
