Duh, batteries are recyclable. The idea of electric cars is to eliminate the localized pollution. If we all had them, you would ride on the street without smelling exhaust fumes the whole time. Gas car exhaust goes out of the rear & right into the front of the car behind it, hmm can you say asthma & lung disease. I am converting my car to electric.

Hats off to the guy. Actually has brain in his head , unlike some people that post comments like they pulled them out of a hat !

He is using two motors wired such that it appears as though it is one large motor with insane torque, then switches over to parallel to gain some top end speed. That is okay solution, but it is just as possible to simply use a 11" or 13" big motor like, Dennis, does for his Current Eliminator and Smoke Screen S-10 which run better 1/4 mile times than this guy's White Zombie.

As far as pollution...That electricity has to come from somewhere, and the great majority is generated at coal-fired plants. A cool car but the 'foreign oil free' line is getting a little old.

In all honesty we should be using electric for drag racing. Someone needs to get an electric to run 5's. Already, EV dragsters can run in the 7's such as the Current Eliminator.

solar, wind, tide, wave, dam, and geothermal energy, look em up... it is completely your choice if you want to stay on foreign oil or not...
