I must say that this is pretty badly done. I formed Spain with Granada(first 200 years were survival horror in North Africa trying to prevent Castille from getting foothold in Marocco) and I still had larger empire at the end of the game than you did with Bysantium.

depends on what you like,

if you like war with advanced features then go for Hoi3

if you like industry and Population management with advanced features then go for Vic2

if you want a mix of both war and Industry and pop management with basic features go for Eu3

@SebbieZation impressive, i've forgotten about black sea,Transylvania, Wallachia an prov like azow zaporozhia astrakahan and some 5-6 provinces around them i didn't go around caspian all the way but it was my eastern border. i didnt go all the way to the persian gulf cause those prov are pretty much worthless, didn't go further into golden horde for the same reason...my primary goal was to unite church ans spread orthodoxy not conquer as much... but first 20 to 50 years were hell...
