Daryl released a solo album Daryl Braithwaite...best of c 1978 on Razzle music C 36763 his first 7 singles and b sides...and he has a beard on the cover. I have a cassette of it; my favourite track is "A Simple Song". but the cassette is nearly worn out... I checked a few of the media information sites recently; this release is not even mentioned on wikipedia...I may have to scan the label just to show it's true.

Great song...gotta lot of airplay on 3XY and performed on the Don Lane Show before they went to the US...3rd single from Sherbet/Highway 1 album...1978

Solid tune this one. Never seen Daryl with a beard before, I'd say this was about '77 or '78. He kind of looks like Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees. Probably the one and only time he ever grew one.
