Bunaken Sunset

At the Kima Bajo resort near the Bunaken Marine Park outside Manado on Sulawesi in Indonesia.

Every day when we came down to the beach to see the sunset it was a surreal experience. Besides most of the sunset being spectacular (this one was kind of tame compared to others) with brilliant colors, a volcano rising from the sea in the distance (Manado Tua), just a few fishing boats in the bay going out for their nightly catch, there was also the hypnotic chanting blaring from louspeakers at the mosque in the nearby village.

Really a gorgeous and trippy experience every evening.
