This is a new benchmark from Unigine (I also did the Tropics and Sanctuary) called Heavens. This time they incorporated DX11 which adds a few nice features, tessallation being one of them - increasing the number of polygons thus making the surface much more realistic - check some of Heaven DX11 videos to see the difference.
Unfortunately I don't have a DX11 card yet (waiting for Nvidia GT300 series) so this video is recorded with DX10 rendering.

After the regular run is finished i did some shots with manual environment settings playing around with different lighting at different angles.

Video was recorded with FRAPS at 1920x1200 with AA set to 4x and AF16x and all other settings to maximum, and encoded with MPEG-4 (I used to use H-264 but for some stupid reason youtube won't accept them).

I forgot to add my audio track so this is one of the tracks you tube has to offer :)

EVGA x58 mobo
EVGA geforce GTX 295

  • U just need a new videocard that supports DX11. I don't really care about DX11, but it makes some great difference in gaming.

  • Wow, breathtaking, I want to live there!

Some strange depth of feild effects going on here.

  • is this a game or what? @_@

  • @2x4 not anymore bitches! :D

  • @YarZeePirate and now they're out they fucking suck. The gtx 480 alone takes up 600w power and hits over 90 degrees. It may have multiple monitor 3D but it's a pointless and expensive gimmic

  • dont worry the GF100 Fermi is gonna be out soon, it supports dx11, 3D surround vision (like eyefinity only with 3d compatibility and enhancement), and a brand new physics engine (not physx).

  • omg this looks soo bad when u've seen several dx11 benchmarks

  • @luv2increase just got 5770.. got to try dirt 2 tommorow to see if there are really any big differences between dx10 and dx11..
