nice vid and i like ur comment for the vid. it has truly been hard for our people to keep our culture so strong. i'm a proud member of the nisga nation and i've heard alot of horror stories about the church and the schools around here. forcing christianity upon the people and physichally punishing the kids for speaking our language. and through all this oppression our culture is still going strong. be proud, our parents are very strong people. as our ancestors were.

Hello im mexican(Mestizo) 60% of indigenous blood and 40% Spanish blood....even though im not full blooded indigenous i consider myself indeginous to this continent cause i look more native than Spanish and iam more native than Spanish..Even though here in the U.S im considered Hispanic regardless im more Amerindian than spanish i think is bull....the true Hispanics r from Spain n they r white..my mom's family r hispanics they r white...im not!...i just wanted to say i consider native americans

@MrSerpent89 I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but how can you be proud to be a "Mestizo"? You're proud that whites raped your ancestors, enslaved them, murdered millions of them, and have us culturally and economically enslaved to this day? If you believe you have a little "white" blood in you, don't do what the white man wanted and call yourself "mixed", just call yourself "Native American" (or whatever term you wish to describe the ONE people here before whites came) and that's it.

I think native americans are the most beautiful people in the world ,not only in looks but in spirit and mind . They are the most ... cant think of any other words to describe but that . i have native blood on me and i can relate to them more than i can any other thing that i can relate to ... Indians rule !!!!!!!! well in my book they do.....

@blazedstranger Can I ask you a question( and Im not being at all ignorant or I would have sent you a private message)? You say "tradition will never happen". If you are true to your ancestors...how come you do not believe their prophecies that come from the highest elders of their tribes? Is that Respect for the Elders...Doubting their words because of society? I think Jesus had those same kind of followers until he proved them wrong.

You have to Feel and Believe...only than will you know.

Now,would it be fare for the whitenatives to say years later..."those dam indians destroyed the world?"NO, because...it was their leader who told the indians to destroy it.Well,just like today the white leaders or whoever it is now in charge, are the ones who pull the strings n feed us puppets whatever we want, literally

But all I was saying is that if we really respected our Ancestors and our Mother Earth, then the only way to help her, is to give up all materialism completely and forever. If we try to keep somethings like solar cars, than that there would be the start of pollution and people would eventually want better and more as always.

maybe not u or me but our off spring or somewhere in the future it would all fall apart, just like it already has.

@neighbouroftheforest truly living traditionally would be something to see. but that will never happen. i just got back from our reserve, we still hold true to our traditions. while u may think we are all living a lie, i have to disagree with you there, maybe I am living a lie being a urban native and embracing the technical world. but my family on the reserve are still respectful of the land and our people. it's a trip going home and being welcomed in every household.

We need to go back to the land with no cars,no white man houses or any materialistic man made things,Now that would be called living traditionally, like I said..we have all lost it,we are all white men, we are all watching white man t.v. and living the white man way.We Are All Living A Lie. We honour the Great Spirit when we go to pow wows or when we want help. We should honour everyday all day long.

@drki11joy123 Millions of Native Americans married whites and created mestizos,millions of Native American women married Spanish men and white men,even today you see alot of Native American people married to white people and Spanish people,why should he hate who he is,if he is Native American and white he should be proud of that just like any other person,just because you hate him doesnt mean everybody else hates him,I like him and what he said,I dont like you dumb mother fucking idiot asshole.
