Cool. I don't know why you say this is well tempered though. Well temperament is an irregular circular tuning, as opposed to the modern equal temperament, Pythagorean tuning, meantone temperament, or just intonation, not to exclude the many other tunings.

Do you need nails to play this instrument? Does it make it sound better in any way if you do have nails rather than plucking it with your fingers?

i do have nails on my right hand, because i'm guitar player, but on this instrument i play mostly with fingertips to make sound more soft. So i wouldn't say nails is important to play it.

@nadishana where are you? are oyu living in europe? in european union? i whant to buy some things from you. but i have to calculate how much i will pay like taxes ( fees boarder). i'm living in italy and my government taxes too much good out from european union.
