@gregorsv that had fuck all to do with the construction of the plane. the crash investigation revealed that there was nothing wrong with the plane at the time of the crash. its just that the polish delegation didnt want to be late, so they decided to try a gamble which didn't work out. the pilots were advised of landing at minsk or moscow (correct me if i am wrong), but the aircrew, probably influenced by senior officers rejected the offer.
