In 1784 America was awakened to radical islam and jihad! Over 200 years ago we faced the same enemy we face to day, they were muslims that waged war upon ALL non believers of Islam! Look it up "The Barbary Wars" "The Barbary Pirates" "Thomas Jefferson and the Barbary Pirates"
Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it!

Wasn't Jefferson supporting the kidnapping and enslavement of African people to be used ,abused, and raped by his own American countrymen in the USA?..What a load of double talking nonsense....

The answer is no! Not only Jefferson but several others abhorred slavery, Jefferson wrote about his feelings towards owning slaves. Jeffersons slaves were treated as free men on his estate, he had a relationship with one of the females and even willed his estate to them. Many had to contend with slavery even though they did not agree with it. As far as double talking nonsense goes this story is about our war on terror and jihad that is as old as our Country itself, you failed to recognize that

@GoingConstitutional People only quote the passages from the Koran that support their agenda. It is a good thing people do not do that with some of the passages in the Old Testament because they could be used to make the Jewish people sound just as evil as you want folks to think ALL Muslims are. I call that hypocrisy. If you haven't read the whole Old Testament it is time you did. I hope Muslims don't use some of those passages against us .know what I mean !

Hosea 4:6, King James Version (KJV)

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

No they didn't. African slaves were taken largely from West Africa, and were often bought from the Portuguese. According to the Constitution as it was then written he DID believe that they were less than Human. You can throw a fit and stomp your feet if you like, though. It doesn't matter to me. As far as you denouncing any place that ever had slaves...That would be the planet Earth. feel free to leave any time you like.

Wan't the Muslims, who you defend rounding them up and selling them, not only to the British colonies in America, but also to other countries?

At the time all this started there was no USA. Stop blaming the US for every evil deed while pardoning the Muslims who were rounding up the blacks to sell for a profit.
