  • They put incredible amounts of energy out when playing this live. I suppose that's why it's called "Electric Co." :D

  • I saw U2 last night in Seattle. The biggest change in their performance after almost 30 years is their hair. Good thing they didn't fire Bono. If they had, U2 would have been the subject of one of those VH-1 "Where are they now?" shows.

  • There were 2 times in where the band almost fired Bono. After this performance and after the Live Aid performance (they were mad because he dragged out "Bad" by jumping down to the crowd and used up all their time to perform)

  • Great video. I read somewhere that Bono used to really do it up in his concerts in the 80s, in re: to scaling heights (scaffolds, etc..). Wow, here is a clear visual of this. Wow, that was kind of nuts. But, figure, Bono is a pretty wired fellow, and he, I estimate is 23 in this concert, so sure, he was definitely up to do this during a show. Great sound, too. The concert goers were quite lucky to see U2 during this decade. I was in elementary school at this time :(

  • @iconprojects

    Thank you. :)

  • @tubbythug92 - Gimp!!

  • Fuckin class!!!

  • I little part of me like Bono without the shades more than the Bono with the shades...

  • @dejay1978 Ditto dejay I was there also. I had my ticket stubs till 2 years ago but I still have the memory of going MOOO through the gates and of David Lee Roth saying "I'm going to F$@# your girlfriend and throwing a empty of JD at the audience.

  • I ATTENDED ALL THREE DAYS STILL HAVE THE TICKETS ALSO. THE ALL TIME BEST FESTIVAL EVER A MEMORY ALL IN IT SELF. EVERY ACT GAVE ITS POTENTIAL IN THIS FEST. THE BEST FEST EVER!!! NEVER WILL FORGET THIS EVENT EVER.

  • We were there to witness this way back in 1983. This is one of the all time great concerts I've ever seen and I will never forget it. My friend said it best when this happened "Well, that was worth the price of admission right there". I agree. We traveled for 2 days to see this concert and it was more than worth it i. Other acts that were performing were The Pretenders, David Bowie (he headlined), Stevie Nicks, Berlin, Joe Walsh, - I can't remember the others.
