Inventor Zhu Ge Liang.
His mission was to produce 100,000 arrows within 3 days, he finished the mission by borrowing all the arrows from the enemy, he did this by making straw boats with the river fog at play, so the enemy can't see them. By making sounds of drum, the enemy send down rains of arrows at the direction of the sound. And he ended up more than 100,000 arrows.
Some might say why the enemy didn't use fire arrows:
Reason #1: They can't see
Reason #2: Fog has water particles in them, which makes fire arrows useless or less efficient.

Since he has so many arrows, he made the repeating crossbow. The crossbow he invented is a ordinary crossbow but with a better mechanism. You might think it's less powerful and it's not as accuracy, but if you put this into a bigger size with tripod, it would be deadly.(which later they did)

  • oh wait nvem what i said.

  • There's a japnese version of the movie?? Upload it plz!

  • @DavidUmstattd Zhuge Liang is often credited for its invention although it has existed long before his time. The repeating crossbow is uniquely a Chinese invention and here are no other ancient handheld weapon with rapid firing. However its range is short and the penetration power is weak as it is unable to pierce leather armor let alone a metal one. The bolts are smeared with very potent poison as a compensation and a mere scratch from one will result instant death.

  • Actually these weapons existed long before Zhuge. Though it is thought that Zhuge did make several refinements to the design.

  • And thats how you fire an AK-47, Three Kingdoms Style.

  • that crossbow looks sweet.

  • He missed 2 guys...

1 person is carrying 200 arrows.

    he was already at 99,600

    HAHAHA!!!!!

  • Most pointless aside in a movie ever. (movie) [hey by the way, check out this historical fact: i invented the cho-ku-nu] (rest of movie)
