Albrook mall in Panama City, Panama. Is a pretty cool place to kill a day shopping. It looks like there are around 450 different stores all under one roof, and they are adding space for another 110 retail stores, as well as a desperately needed parking garage. I've heard there are plans to add a few hotels nearby too.

I like to stop for a visit anytime I'm in the Panama City area, but I rarely buy anything other than food. Sometimes it's just fun to hang out in a huge place like that.

  • kangaroos aren't mythical creatures.

  • @ergasterAUS Your trying to tell me that there are really animals that bounce around on 2 legs and carry their babies in a pouch? I wasn't born yesterday.

  • oh I bet they dont have everything......like KLR tires? hmmmmm????

  • @1jbunceiii Well they don't have knobbie tires for a KLR no. But I did buy a new rear tire here in that video, "Flat Tire Adventures."

  • HT, I notice that only the larger stores had the bag check; So if everyone just went to the smaller stores and shopped there; could the masses change the way they are treated??? trb

  • @trbfshmn Smaller stores have them too, they are just inside somewhere near the entrance.

  • Very nice and complete report in less than 2 minutes...

You should do another one when they finish the new part.

    = )

  • nice narration!

  • Wow I've never seen Albrook mall during Christmas, really cool! I remember it being so packed sometimes that you pretty much have to walk shoulder to shoulder.

  • @tlcmcwoodstock hey cool, i too was stationed out here. Albrook today is a full fledged airport. They closed the one in paitilla and moved it to Albrook. There are some international flights to Costa Rica too. They have a shit load of hangers with all kinds of repair shops for planes and helicopters. cool huh?

  • How things change over time. When I was stationed out of Fort Clayton at Chiva-Chiva in the "rain forest" Albrook was a very active Air Force Base. From the looks of it all that's left is the tarmac.

  • Merry Christmas to you & to all a good bike.

  • @AccidentalBroadcast Malls breed consumption, the worst wasting disease.

  • @accidentalbroadcast I agree. Now get back to work. I need a vid fix. I came here for my rice, now i want my beans. :-)

  • @halfthrottle seriously?
