Considering I haven't posted in a month... might as well post another today. I'm trying to get a better sound quality than my previous post. I think I did it.

I transcribed the head to this tune as well as Bud's solo earlier this year.

The goal (I guess) was to start off playing like Bud and end playing like myself. A couple flubs and dumbness... but if you look past that there should be a couple worthwhile melodies.

I like the way you start traditional and gradually get further and further out but always mindful of the point from whence you came. Then you bring it back in at the end making this a very enjoyable listening experience. Nice, original, interpretation of a classic. *****

Listening to you and Mr. Volvoxburger led me to a personal commitment: I will practice both Celia and Parisian Thoroughfare and publish the results in youtube before end of May. Be or bop, my commitment.
