To help the suffering parts of the world we need to understand their problems and give them the means to help themselfs. We can't just fix things for people and hope that they stay fixed when we leave.

  • Empathy is so important - you seem like a really sweet gal - word up to putting some up an earnest response to such a monumental problem.

I teach English in Japan at a pretty tough Jnr HIgh and if it's one thing people need, esp kids, its the ability to develop and excercise their ethical (and empathic) muscles. People also need to discuss how we can direct our empahthy most effectively, constructively, and creatively.

  • Thank you :D I learn japanese in Canada, oh what we have in common :) I think the best thing we can do in our on commuities is to help others relate to each other.

  • the thing is we don't want them to be independent we want them to rely on us so we could make a profit and control them. White Power

  • you disturb me...

  • Your last part is a good answer but the first 2 mins are you just rambling stupidly about we need to force people to care.. HMmmm so we need all the gov to what put a gun to everyone head and demand they care... lol

  • thanks for your input. I reallize I was sort of rambling, I'll try to think out what I want to say better in my new videos. :)

  • BORING-DUll-WASTEFUL-POINTLESS.

not a very good way to catch people attention sweetheart.

  • um, was there a response in there?

  • ...like OMG, there's so much bad stuff and bad people out there and it's just terrible...and we're desensitized...and you know...nobody cares...we just need to reach out and understand their problems...and everything...and just stop being so mean...

  • pointless. the premise is not to help them, but rather not to rob their resources and pay fair prices. the influence on that starts in the supermarket round your corner.

  • ???

  • nice

  • nc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hooker.

  • Just simply get the USA and China to sign the Kyoto Protocol. That would fix the problem for a time. And after that we have time to make other changes. Like birth controll in Africa and India, otherwise we'll gonna be screwed REAL soon.

  • Perhaps so, but the general public is just as greedy as any politician. People need to learn contentment and genuine empathy for others. As long as there are gains to be made over others, there will always be trouble in the world. People need to remember that there is always someone better and worse off than you, be it financially, physically, mentally or otherwise. Find a balance and learn to be content.
