Funny I built a gasoline fed Pontiac Firebird blown, stroked and at $50000( a hell of a lot less than all 3 cars) Can out run that electric car by 2 seconds and 10mph in the 1/4 mile. Think I'll stick with gasoline

I think you know what I mean with my "literal hyperbole" exaggeration. I understand motor rating chump. There is a direct correlation with nano-phosphate tech and higher motor capacities. The real point still stands, electric cars are the future in transportation. And you just can't refute that.

The motors will be rated for a particular power and won't magically make more because of a different battery technology. Not to mention, if we start playing the "if we changed this and that" game, the gas powered version could certainly be hopped up too (of course the person you were responding to was making the same ass-hat mistake).
