me and me bro were brought up on marty and the return of the gunfighter album me dad didnt stop playing it dads gone now so has marty but as long as we breath air we will keep em alive in our memories ,thx tarquin

I have 18 episodes of the Spot Light series, it's not cheap but well done and worth the cost. There's a You Tube video here advertising the videos. Ray Price and Marty was the best in the group in the series, in my opinion. Ray Price was always so calm and collected but Marty made sure he was laughing through most of the episode. But they were all good, but I'm partial to Marty and Ray. Here's the only place I found that sells the set: cfrvideos

What is the history of this show? Was this Marty's own TV show? These songs are great.

These shows date from 1968/9 and they were sold a few years back on video as 'The Best Of The Marty Robbins Show.'
Sadly, they have never been released officially on DVD. Marty also had a show around the mid 70's called 'The Marty Robbins Spotlight' which featured guests such as Chet Atkins, Don Gibson, Brenda Lee, Jerry Reed and Ray Price to name just a few.
