  • lol i'm in this video

  • @Dukeybm maybe you should learn how to rig and signal before you post a comment. the signal at 1:07 is a one handed boom retraction, if you have worked with anything but a tower crane you would know this. furthermore grade 80 or 100 chain bridles are designed for overhead hoisting and are considered acceptable although i prefer wire rope myself. go make fun of carpentry videos or something that you actually know something about.

  • I was a part of msking this movie for Harris Rebar, Vancouver.I have been a doing rebar for 8 years. The signal he is giving at 1:07 is one handed boom out or travel trolley out. and at 1:56 we are actually hooked around two closed ties on a prefabed cage

  • i work for harris rebar in vancouver bc canada. as of right now and the past year we have to wear safety glasses , long sleeve shirts, face shield when cutting with torch or saw, and yes we are union!!

  • The More I watched this video the more I see dangerous conditions from improper rigging equipment, rigging tech., and can anyone tell me what signal he's doing at 1:07! LOL @ 1:56 the Two are hooked of wrong with there hooks, Always hook to the Back bar and they are clearly hook to the outside vertical. But I guess other then the Safety Glass issue is the Most Dangerous issue is Never Ever use the Hoisting Chains to Rig Rebar Only Proper Weighted Slings and Chokers Should Be used to Rig up steel

  • I am a Foreman For Harris in Sarnia, Ontario. Watching this video I found it interesting that you say you are teaching these young workers about Safety, yet a lot of them are failing to wear Safety Glasses.... PPE is the first line of defense and you don't make them wear it.

  • Union all the way baby IW 752

  • 'course Harris is union!

  • I sure hope you are union
