Thanks for your service. My Dad was a Quartermaster on the Uss Darter (diesel/electric) back in the '60's. He still has his ditty bag and it still smells like the inside of that boat.

I listened to this version as a kid somewhere in the early 70's.

Some 15 years later the song popped up in my head, picked up the guitar and played that guitar intro. (years before internet) I was so proud I could play this one!
