Trailer - The Freeloading Menace

Our account. This is a trailer for a remake of a film we had on old accounts. This time around, we're not sucky editors, and the primary purpose of this film was to test our editing abilities. The film itself is about two guys going to the mini gold course, where one of them lacks the money to play a game. He tries to barter with the man behind the stand for a free game, but to little avail. The employee calls his manager, a sith lord, and the freeloader and manager fight in a battle... A battle involving lightsabers. Near death, the freeloader's friend saves him from certain doom...

wat is rotoscoping anyway, is it hard, and does it take a long time?

Yeah, I'm afraid so. There is no way around it, as far as I can tell. Rotoscoping is editing something frame by frame, so you make the saber picture about 30 times per second. It's a long process, but there are different methods that you can use in the lightsaber effect's case.

this is cool, but which adobe premiere did u use, cuz mine doesnt have that glow, im using premiere elements 4

I used Elements for this. But if you mean the lightsaber effect, I had to Rotoscope in Photoshop to make that.
