@Juilkca I am not of fan of the sheen either but you can change just about everything. It's fairly easy to do too.

I don't like the sheen effect. E17 looks like a wm you would see from an anime or something. Would look good with anime wallpaper.

@sachteau Mandriva may already have rpms for e17, install them and use GDM or whatever login manager to select an Enlightenment session.
The failsafe is compiling Enlightenment from source, it's not too terribly difficult but takes a while and the packages won't be recorded into your package database so fixing, upgrading, uninstalling, etc your Enlightenment installation will give you a little trouble. But one thing I've learned from *nix, is it's YOUR machine, do whatever works for you.

would that be difficult to be set as default mandriva environment? I made a huge trip through the linux distros to find the most suitable for me and found that Mandriva is best for me, I am new to linux, had a chance to have elive linux but I need something, that works well with many apps. thanks
