if you don't want to take the risk of being the butt of the joke, then don't go to a comedy bar. it is a risk that people knows will happen once they go to a comedy bar. i know that it does sound cliche but nobody forces anyone to enter a comedy bar. so if you don't want to be the butt of the joke then get out and don't even go near one.
