Strawberry Switchblade - I Can Feel

Here's my FAVOURITE single from the ultra FAB Strawberry Switchblade with their Japan ONLY released single "I Can Feel" from 1986. I wish this track was released in the UK with a 12"... version and a video as I think it would have been their BIGGEST hit and a match for any Dead or Alive or Bananarama track of the time! This was also their very last single released!

It was probably unreleased in the UK because both girls thought the single was rubbish. They were very unhappy about it.

Nice video.. Ecstasy was crap musically but Rose wrote the lyrics & meant a lot in it. I CAN FEEL is excellent, but we may understand that it was done at the end of Str Sw so girls were in a bad state of mind. I guess they would have loved to have the song less "tweety tweet"-synth-sounding, just like the album by the way

@rich975 that's not the whole story. I read they hated Ecstasy, which I understand cos it's crap, but Rose actually said she loved I Can Feel, while Jill hated it since she wasn't any part of it.

I love their studio album, but I also love stuff like this and Ecstasy (Apple of My Eye) - has that great bouncy 80's pop sound to it
