  • Immensely talented musician and variationist.

Did you, however, have the intention of writing a scherzo? These variations, I sense, are brilliant. I hear Beethoven's own style in these variations. You owe it to your natural talent to develop your abilities and ideas to the highest level possible. This is, I believe, one could say, your duty.

The only problem is this: nowadays, there is only rare appreciation for such brilliant talent. You should then compose for future generations.

  • this makes me long after my own piano...love it

  • bravo

  • @AristonMenHudor You and I are of the same mind, Ariston! Perhaps were are the same man? Anyhow, Mr. Ahn makes us long for 1825-30. He will be immensely celebrated in 1845, and everyone will know his name in Germany.

  • I should have also said: vena genii, or rather, "uno talento vero". The "vrai esprit" de Beethoven is alive in Korea. So much to remind us in these variations also of 109 and 110! Thank you.

  • You are a true musician Mr. Yoel Ahn. There is much inventiveness and originality here, with some reference to Beethoven himself who loved to make variations. Waren Sie in 1833 geboren, Herr Ahn?

  • BRAVO!

  • tremendo!! genio
