Indian Railways: Mumbai to Kolkata

After 2 and a half years of stay in Mumbai, it was time to return home. I would typically fly, but due to the heavy and many luggages, I decided to book a ticket in the AC First Class in Mumbai-Howrah Mail.

This video shows predominantly the interior of the AC First Class coach; however, there are a couple of outdoor scenes as well.

the most amazing thing is that this train is not rajdhani, duronto or shatapdi therefore the coaches are not LHB, nevertheless it is FANTASTIC, one can only imagine how the 1ac coaches are like in rajdhani, shatapdi and duronto which trully are the best trains in india leaving out royal rajasthin on wheel, palace on wheels, deccan oddessey, golden chariot and maharaj express of course. The most beautiful rakes I 've ever seen in Indian Railways..Hats off to 1A travel,though I'mstill now not fortunate enough to travel...but trully train lovers would love to travel in 1A specially that too in a prestigious route like Mumbai-Howrah....no comparison with flight travel

How can 1 compare the 1A coaches of Alleppey Dhanbad Exp with that of Mumbai Howrah Mail,I mean is he seriously mad....???...Like the coaches of the previous one is maintained by the most worst railway zone ,i.e,ECR & that of Mumbai Mail is maintained by SER....NOw tell me any comparison b/w these two zones???If u can make at least one single comparison,my dear friend run through Bihar(most of the part under ECR) & run thru WB & JK...running itself will make u feel the diff b/w these two zones
