So, my question is...are the little bulbs that illuminate the face, are they just white? Or blue? I've got half a mind to remove the bulbs and just install a flat red EL panel behind the face to create red numbers and maybe wire it to the factory dimmer...but if the gauge face numbers themselves are blue tinted, it would look crappy with a red panel. I'd prefer a soft redish glow than just LEDs that follow the needle...

you do not make the ring. You buy the ring at strobes r us or just type led ring also will help you it is verry easy to put in

hahahaha... hell said. i was thinking the same thing. I can guarantee that someone ho will do this by herself, knows how to disconnect a baterry.
