I bet people behind PAYDAY The Heist were inspired by this epic scene.

@Spatalian007 police has no chance agains this kind of mercenaries, they train as soldiers not like police officers

ikr? Nowadays scenes flash by so fast you'd think they'd been pasted to bullets and are just whizzing by the camera at random. You have no idea who is shooting who, or where, and god forbid they actually allow you to hear gunshots during a shoot-out: instead they just throw in blaring music to promote the tie-in soundtrack. And apparently everything in an action movie is packed with explosives because there's a fireball ever ten minutes -__-'

@EnigmaDrath - you know what.... well said mate. I can't watch most action films these days due to the wobble cams, quick-cuts (so you can't see how shit it actually looks), wire jumping, impossible martial arts and lazy CGI short cuts. This is the best shootout in the history of cinema.

Holy shit, this with headphones is awesome.

@9hufr4n786 ....seriously? yes.....

Great scene. Never seen this movie before, but now I'm kinda interested.

Great movie.
Awesome action scenes and simple story line; Cops Vs Robbers.
Probably one of the greatest shootout scenes ever.
Dear modern film makers,
THIS is how you shoot an action scene.
No overuse of CGI. No overdone editing of scenes that each last 0.00000001 seconds. No extreme closeups and shaky (read: spastic) cams. No overplayed sound track blaring louder than the shots fired. No ridiculous, over the top explosions just for the hell of it.
Guns + people to fire the guns = all you need.
Just give us a scene and let us actually see what's going on.
Sincerely,
Just Some Moviegoer
