Swedish-born Mats Ek is one of the world's most important choreographers and Introdans is truly proud to present an entire youth-oriented performance by this special dance-maker.




The work of Mats Ek can be seen on many international stages. The movements he creates are often humorous and amusing, and although his works are not made specially for children they are highly suitable for this young audience. He has an exciting sense of musicality and the performance by the energetic dancers of Introdans Ensemble for Youth will get young and old (age 6 and upwards) on the edge of their theatre seats.

Roel Voorintholt is responsible for the programming. Time and again he succeeds in pulling a number of suitable dance pieces out of the hat... Following a whole series of successful productions, recognition was finally due. He was thus singled out to receive the 2008 Critics' Prize, in particular for his children's programmes.
