In this January 2008 clip, Barack Obama admits that, under his Cap and Trade plan (or Cap and Tax as it's more accurately called) "energy prices would necessarily skyrocket." The most accurate cost estimate puts this "skyrocketing" at about $3,900 per year per household. Doesn't really sound like the formula for economic recovery to me.

Once you understand that Obama is a 3rd generation communist hell-bent on crippling America, everything he does makes perfect sense

you squander energy, and that is effecting the world climate for everyone, despite the wars. Try and curtail your stupid selfish idiot attitude if just for your childrens sake, and squander less energy.

True but what works now is oil. Granted it causes polution, however, I'd rather create a little green house gas then see the one stable country of free men in the world go under especially now that the new predictions concerning global warming and such and much farther down the road then previously predicted. We've got plenty of time to perfect an alternative energy source and we should take that time to do it right and make sure its reliable. I really think we should look into hydrolosys.

I understand why his comments are despised what taken in fragments. But when you listen to the response, you understand that he's not only talking about coal, but other forms of energy; natural gas etc. Now, I've not heard other than the coal industry any complaining about his policies, because they are working every where but the coal industry. Therefore, we should make a switch to natural gas and get it up to 60-75% of what most Americans use as their resource. Idea is to invest in what works

He said this back in 20008. I tried to warn EVERYONE who planned to vote for him back then but no one listened.
