Is this amp named after the City Fred Flinstone lived?
-
The 600's all sound like this - I've got 2, have played 2 others.
-
this amp sounds pretty close to the lead 50 head i have. yours has more gain but it looks like a similar amp anyway. awesome sound.

Maybe the tubes sucked or something. Because I just bought one and it crushes a Dual Rectifier any day.
-
Your selling it in Orlando right? Because I seen one for sale in Orlando.

I've never heard a Bedrock with so much gain. What did you do to it. My 1200 is very vintage, Aerosmith, of course.

The 1200's are cool, no doubt. I actually didn't alter the gain stages at all. The thought crossed my mind (since I build botique amps and have the uncanny compulsion to mess with things), but I thought I'd just keep it stock, and just heat the bias on the power section a tad. Nothing, really. :) I believe that I didn't even have the gain all the way up, either. No real need to have it maxxed. :)

I used to have a Bedrock 1000 Series three channel head. If it sounded as good as this, I would still own it!
