@boston4877 Tocchet owned him, but you have to realize that Shanny was an 18 year old kid, and Rick was 23 with over 90 NHL fights already under his belt.

@idster7 It was December 6th, 1987. There wasn't hockey on June 13th back then. The cup was over in May.

@LS6Z28 agree, what's even worse is when two enforcers go at it just because thats all they are there for -staged fights. nothing against fighting but it can disrupt some good hockey games.

Love watching those non enforcer, but tough, hard nosed players like Neely, Stevens, Roberts, Shanahan, Manson, Tocchet, Gill. It's usually allways a wild spirited bout when these guys fight each other.
