Install silverlight:

I have mocrosoft word and such. it came with silverlight but i didn't want it installed into my mac. I went on netflix and it told me to download silverlight to watch the movie. Is it really necessary ?

@hobolikespie11 why the hate? apple made damn sure silverlight would work for their OS they even worked with microsoft to make sure it would. The big dogs aren't a fan of Flash.

hmm too bad the removal doesn't remove 4.0 beta. i can't get the blasted thing uninstalled. i got rid of the plug in and everything else that came with it. everytime when i was to install the 3.0 version it still says can't install because a newer version is on the disk.

make sure you QUIT not close safari before installing. You can do this by holding your mouse down on the safari icon in your dock for several seconds until a menu comes up. then click quit
