@deancrawford Regardless, more than just genetic / innate traits are protected (religion, for example). You can disagree with people and still support Libery (a free country, "equal protection under the law" and all that jazz that makes the US great).

@deancrawford Well, there actually is. It's not a terribly strong link, and mostly secondary (genes of the mother) ... but regardless it is innate in most (men at least). Before birth, or at least the first few months in most.

i hate when people use the bible to justify illegalize gay marriage. i am a christian and i do believe gay marriage is wrong but ive realized one thing, NOT EVERYONE IS A CHRISTIAN......and i cant force my religion on anyone else

@MamaMario13 The No side lost because they were the ones who ran a campaign of hate. They labeled anybody who even pondered voting Yes a bigot and scared them away from their side, stole yard signs, vandalized churches and businesses that donated to the Yes campaign. To top it off, they insulted the black community by comparing themselves to the black civil rights movement. 70% of blacks voted Yes on 8 as a result. You guys ran a horrible campaign.

@freakylocz14 Dont get me wrong I am very tolerant of christians even though I am not one.
I dont mind if christians condemn homosexuals. I just wish they would accept that it is genetic, it cant change and stop inferring that gays can go to "heaven" if they remain celibate. Mandatory celibacy for gays is not in the bible. Christians should just kick gays out of the church and leave them alone.
BTW Ive read the bible, trust me heaven sounds like a shithole

The music when the gays come... LOL! I was looking out for godzilla or a giant squid! But no, there were just people having a good time...
So gay marriage causes all this 14'000 fires? And the 400 'normal' ones each year? Straight men raping their daugthers? Straight women cursing? Children eating chocolate before dinner? More like: People throwing away cigarettes! Bad combination of less humidity and heat! Or the climat change!
