This is a DIY DemoKit for Androids Open Accessory Developer Kit (ADK). An Arduino Uno, a Spark Fun USB Host shield and a selfmade IO board has been used.

The Android DemoKit App is been used without any modification. The Arduino firmware is adapted to the Arduino Uno by romfont.

  • @kamikadze1112 Thanks. It's an interface to physical computing. You can control almost anything from your phone (robots, home automation..). Nothing new, so far, but now officially supported by Google.

    I'm using an Arduino Uno and a Sparfun USB Host shield:

    The SparkFun USB Host shield will not work with an Arduino Mega or Mega2560, you can use the USB Hiost shield from Circuits@Home instead:
