Videotaped by Zach Strauss
What Wondrous Love Is This
By: American Folk Hymn
What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this
That caused the Lord of bliss
To bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul,
To bear the dreadful curse for my soul!
When I was sinking down, sinking down, sinking down,
When I was sinking down, sinking down,
When I was sinking down
Beneath Gods righteous frown,
Christ laid aside His crown for my soul for my soul,
Christ laid aside His crown for my soul.
To God and to the Lamb I will sing, I will sing;
To God and to the Lamb I will sing;
To God and to the Lamb,
Who is the great I AM,
While millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing,
While millions join the theme, I will sing.
And when from death Im free, Ill sing on, Ill sing on;
And when from death Im free, Ill sing on.
And when from death Im free
Ill sing His love for me,
And through eternity Ill sing on, Ill sing on,
And through eternity Ill sing on.
What an amazing arrangement: don't keep it anonymous - who supplied the piano harmonies - as good as Ralph Vaughan Williams?

Not a good recording I think. Can hardly hear the singer!

Just like @joerocklove, I too watched this video many times, on my blackberry and on my computer for the morning. This song was done with expression and soundness. A duet would be nice also but @KingKramden keep on upload the work from such musical talent.

This absolutely beautiful hymn was done much justice by all the musicians. I listened 4-5 times, then just had to comment. Thanks for the commitment to the Lord's work through music! You have no idea how much I would have loved to harmonize with Carol on this. Bless You on this most Holy of seasons.
