One last point, don't be a narrow minded twat...you have your industry and language thanks to the british, your gunpowder thanks to the chinese, your democracy thanks to the greek. Just like so many other nations in this side of the world, the US is a creation from putting a thousand different FOREIGN ideas and influences in one place, COPYING the good that others invented, and forging a nation out of it. It's the same with all industries. Those same nations and returning the wealth to you in huge profits from exports.Billions of dollars go back to your nation from consumers abroad consuming stuff from ALL your industries. It's a give and take situation like in a marriage, which sucks at times, but you can't have it any other way...

First of all, are you from the future or did you just pull figures out of your *** ? India does not have 1555 million citizens. As of today, China remains the most populated country on earth.
Second of all, if apple for example decided to be "your friend" and manufacture only in the United States, a series of things would happen. Like going BROKE...or else cutting wages to a level I' m sure you're not willing to accept. Many other foreign competitors would eat apple for breakfast. Agree?

@udennyn Greed is selling well all over the planet, importing cheap labor solves nothing, just a band-aid to stick on the larger wound that is not solved. Globalization as it is in the present is an excuse to steal from one country and fund another, again only temporary!

Look at us we are in the worst shape there is, people must understand this isn't against China OR India it's about protecting USA for the sake of our kids our grand kinds. I must say we have no choice but to leave everything we do & start looking for the people we elect to put an end to this tragedy.
We have to contact all of our friends to do the same if we really care because this will not stop unless we show them that our vote will put them out for the next election. Thank you.

so you are insisting on a boycott on foreign goods,
(That would be difficult in a capitalist economy with brainwashed consumerists, Im not saying its impossible but definetly not easy )
American wages are way higher than communist chinese wages, so cost of goods available will be in multiples of already high living rates in usa. Making it more unsustainable for the common man
The economy would further collapse. Apart from these, what outcome do you expect ? (My stance is neutral)

@KevinSlasHr Well stated, (I could not agree more). Further collapse with continued pain of deleveraging as the financial institutions try to collect on what will be undeliverable because of those higher costs you mention. Some protection to prevent a more dire reality, (or faster collapse) would be good policy. There is not a lot one can do to educate the likes of the brainwashed consumerists IMHO. Thanks
