You might be surprised to learn, that even the high ranking government officers are ignorant of sovereign rights. Otherwise, General Sarath Fonseka would not submit himself to enjoy prison sentence, over simple legal matters.

Sarath Fonseka lost both internal and external sovereign wars.
Many will argue about the fate of Sarath Fonseka. If you boil down all arguments, you will agree, it is his own fault.

Why?

When the ship sinks, a professor in all -logy (eg: biology, theology, sociology, technology, etc.) will not survive, unless he knows swimalogy!

Likewise,

Sarath Fonseka might have assumed a successful General, under the constitution of Sri Lanka; but he lost both internal and external wars as a sovereign.

Let me explain by Scenario:

Scenario 1:
If a neighbor complaints against a boy to his mother:
1. Mother will defend her son (Sovereign against external threat)
2. Then, she will discipline her son (Sovereign against internal threat)

Scenario 2:
1. Military defends Sri Lanka as a sovereign, from invaders.
2. Police and court systems discipline Sri Lanka as a Sovereign, from trouble makers

Back to Sarath Fonseka's Sovereign Wars:

Remember, Sarath Fonseka is a Sovereign.
He has many agents (persons) to represent him

External War:
1. A Person of Sarath Fonseka, willingly surrendered through contract, under CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF ACT, No. 35 OF 2009 (& Army Act, etc)

The person of Sarath Fonseka, should have signed name to contracts, with qualifying signature with words like "without prejudice" or "All rights reserved" or "Auth Rep" to communicate the his Person.

After his Person, breached the contract,
2. Another person of Sarath Fonseka, considered and gave his consent to a suggestion of agents of Sri Lanka, where he was judged under their code considered as law. His legal advisors, who were associated with BAR, did not want to blow their secrets for the sake of their client (whom they considered as a person of inferior condition).

Internal War:
1. It is Sarath Fonseka's ego on hid status that held himself to his person that contracted with Government Agents. He was not prepared to let it go, and dragged himself with it.

2. Fast track politics, believing the bubble shown to him by his mates, specially in computer Jilmart case, and losing control with Upul Illangamge by speaking rubbish in public, etc demonstrated his desperate nature at his internal sovereign war.

Sarath Fonseka's case is a good opportunity for people of Sri Lanka to study about their sovereign rights.

Every sovereign people has a kingdom to rule, within. It is not wise to sacrifice the kingdom (self) for pawns' affairs (relationships of fictional persons).

Yea, this may be true for the most part, but this "Mafia" doesn't accept the rule of law anymore and they'll lock up for as long as the wish anyway. It's a good way for peaceful noncompliance and would be a great way to piss them off. But either way, you will be put in prison and/or murdered by these corrupt criminals.
