Western Tarsier at Borneo Rainforest Lodge, Danum Valley, Sabah.

Caught a cute western tarsier in the forest of Danum Valley, Sabah. I'm about to have my dinner when out of nowhere our ranger/tour guide (Edmundo J. Cafe JR.) informed us that they found a western tarsier. I had to leave my dinner and rushed to the location. I was so excited because the western tarsier are only a few meters from me. Indeed, I was among the first who has reached the location and were the last to leave the scene. What a beautiful creature.. It's worthwhile to see them in their natural habitat, even though I was bitten by three leeches.

wowee!I am going to kota kinabalu in march, I will be dreaming of seeing one of these for weeks now! fantastic, although he dont seem too keen on the bright lights.
