Remember all of President Obama's "open government" and "transparency" promises? Here's a refresher: "The way to make government accountable is to make it transparent, so the American people can know exactly what decisions are being made, how they're being made and whether their interests are being well served." -President Obama, January 21, 2009

But when it comes to actual transparency and open government, this is what the White House actually delivers: "I think there are discussions, even about transparency and developing rules about transparency that we need to be able to have quietly and behind closed doors." - Daniel Gordon, White House staff testimony on attempted White House politicization of federal government contracting.

Your Oversight watchdogs are holding the Obama Administration accountable not just for its attempts to drag politics into taxpayer-funded federal contracts, but on its epic failures of transparency, open government and accountability. You deserve to know why.
