VP of Supply Chain & Operations

Job Description Title: VP of Supply Chain & Operations

Location: Central Midwest

Scope of Responsibility:

- Company manufacturing facilities in both the US and Europe, as well as outsourced facilities in Asia;
- Distribution centers and 3PL relationships in the US, Canada, Europe, China, Japan and Australia;
- Move beyond traditional sourcing in China to identify options in places like Eastern Europe, Central / Latin America, India, etc.;
- Direct the procurement function for materials, equipment and products to ensure uninterrupted supplies at optimum cost;
- Move beyond traditional forecasting and inventory planning to a best-in-class S&OP process;
- Provide strategic and tactical leadership for customer service programs;
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement throughout supply chain and operations.

Background Required:

- Highly energetic, self-directed individual with at least 12-15 years experience including supply chain planning, manufacturing, sourcing / procurement and logistics;
- Experience in Consumer Durables preferred;
- Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle or equivalent;
- Bachelor's Degree required;
- Proven track record of success in developing teams and future pipeline of talent.

Compensation Plan:

- $200 -- 225K + 30% bonus;
- Full benefit package including medical, dental, disability and 401(k);
- Full relocation available.
