I thought it was foreign when I saw the FFO,
until I saw TUPNI on the back.

what speed are you playing the tape? 15ips?

Funny stuff, many are wondering how you done that without adding electronics to the third head, i will try & get my tech to do this to an old Philips machine i have, maybe best to start with a 3 head machine & add a pitch control... great upload!

OMG!!! That is great! My father has a old system I guess you can say from 1970. He's go a Akai Super Delux 1800-X with the Cross Field & 8-Track Player on the side of the system. It's amazing what you did with this reel to reel tape recorder! :-) that is awsome sounding. I never thought you could do something like that with it. nice work! :-)

Hi, this is inspiring, as I'm trying to do something similar! Have you simply MOVED the original PLAYBACK head to a new location, further from the record head?
-
so the new heads are just bolted down? Are they straight to an output jack? and what kind of mixer is that?
-
insane...thanks for posting!

ok tell me now. how do you add the extra head to thin type of Webcor? please respond!!!
Hi Man;
Originally, is it a 3 head recorder? How did you install the new recording head to it?
Thanks

originally it is a 2 head recorder. I found an empty spot after the record head and screwed it down. I hope to eventually get the head to be moveable.

Very good video it is!
I just have a question: Where does the sound come from, i. e. which head do you connect to the amplifier from which the final sound comes from? Is it the recording head? In other words what is the final output?

the sound comes from the Existing Play/Record Head

Awesome video :)
Just wondering how you connected the additional play head to the jack... is it simply connected directly via speaker cable, or is the head connected to its 'original' circuit board and then to the jack? Cheers, G
