@Chris25rod Not exactly. Wool doesn't have to be so heavy - it depends on what sheep breed and how fine wool is spun. A good number of men's suits today are made out of wool and they certainly don't die of heat. Wool has excellent properties - wicks away the moisture in heat and retains heat when its cold.

Although I wish you would have been authentic 100%, well-done vid. As someone deeply fascinated by the American Civil War and the Victorian era in general it's nice and informative to see how women dressed during that time. It was quite the ritual :-).
