Star Wars Inspired Architecture

This short film was produced by Charley Morey in the Summer of 2010, under the instruction Richard B. Ferrier, at the University of Texas at Arlington. In Professor Ferrier's class we focused on experimental architecture, inspired by the themes and imagery of the Star Wars movies. It was his philosophy that architecture school is the time and place for experimentation. Despite the appearance of this animation, most of the class focused on "hands on" methods, including sketching, painting, and building numerous physical models. The computer modeling and animation was done in about a week, at the very end of the class, using Google SketchUp and Adobe Premiere.
