GREAT SCOTT! I can't believe so much has changed in my life since I imported my Delorean from the USA! The car was at my mechanics when I was asked if TV station Channel 31 could borrow the car to do a Back to The Future comedy for their grand finale end of season episode. I had to get the car finished quickly at the mechanics and then I think in about 3 days while it was being finished build/assemble all the props for the time vehicle ready for the deadline on the weekend without the car. This is alot harder than it sounds as critical measurements had to be calculated from model cars and permanently locked down without knowing if it would fit until the last minute before the cameras. I had been doing the time machine thing to my exotic cars for almost 20 years so had an impressive archive of "mad scientist'" equipment to work from and basically didn't sleep during that time and kept at it till I had the basic outline of the time vehicle ready for the cameras. When we shot the last scene in the city I had my visiting sister with terminal cancer on what would be the last time I would ever see her and there I was at 4am doing pretty heavy mechanical repairs on the car out in the lab for that days filming instead of doing the obvious. She was much impressed with it all and everyone had a great time. My Mum was with me in the car in one scene on camera out of shot and the guys were 100% fantastic to work with. The funniest thing was the many times I had to "hit" Shannon with the car till we got it right. I think at one point the poor guy connected pretty hard with the car and it took Casualty 2 hours to get the DMC logo out of his leg :) So sit back and enjoy our collective efforts to put the first replica Delorean time machine on film in this country in such a short time. I hope you enjoy my tongue in cheek props and their zany sense of humour as we go back in time to where it all started. And yes I've overhauled the car myself since and have complete the time machine and do professional displays with it all over the place since and am having the time of my life with the mass exposure the car is getting now. Check out my updated videos and you'll be shocked at some of the things I am showing the world that I have done in this country. Put your feet up and enjoy the fun as we go back in time for a look at yesterday today! Cheers, Doc Braun :)
