Anyone complaining about how the band has "Ruined this song": It's a good punkish arrangement. Take it or leave it. Traditional folk songs are meant to be arranged differently, anyway, and they have been for hundreds of years.

The Flannigan/Lanigan thing. This song is called (F)lannigan's Ball. It's based on the Irish song Lanigan's Ball, though many of the words are different.

Not to be rude, but have you ever heard of an Irish word "Lanigan"? I don't think so....However, Flannigan IS indeed an Irish word.
