@TheTroyBreslow I recall my former wife and lover Linda Cambre as I listen. Great song. Terrific performance. Powerful memory.

If Dylan was succeeding instead of seceding he wouldn't give a rats ass that his old lady split.

what a crazy, strange, beautiful song. even if there were love songs, and even if this was one and it was only a memory, and even if you were not all that sure about the memory, and even if you had been to war and now love and songs and guitars were all like a hang-over, you'd still pause over this one.

If anyone doesn't know, in "The Witmark Demos" of Bob Dylans Bootleg series, it says the first 30 seconds into listening Bob Dylan's original demo, she was in tears, then went into the studio and recorded it right away.

Man!!!!! She makes this heartbreaking song even MORE heartbreaking.Loved it on "the walking dead" although i thought it was a little incongruis until i thought about the doctors heartbreak over his infected wife

Mellow magic indeed... for today, tomorrow and beyond.

Would someone please post "Thirsty Boots" and "Just Like Tom Thumbs Blues"? I was one of those who preferred Judy over Joan. It was a great time in folk music.

I always like to sing this song the day before the clocks go back an hour

The Best.

Excellent audio! Seattle's own beautiful-voiced Judy Collins singing one of Bob Dylan's most haunting melodies: An unbeatable combination! Thank you, and may your cousin remain safe and secure.

This song destroys me, and I can't imagine a better performance of it; Judy Collins was in her glorious prime here.

@TheTroyBreslow yes, thank you for mentioning it. I think Judy Collins covers that Dylan song most beautifully of all.
