God i love steve smith. Ever since 2001 when i first watched him when i was five, he was and has been my favorite player. He has more drive, passion, and love for the game than any other player ive seen in the NFL. He makes every play hes involved in fucking intense as hell, i always get chills when watching him play. He'll always be #1 in my book

@graveyard090 .....because that has held him back so long throughout his career right? lol. The more and more you people doubt Smitty, the more and more he proves you wrong. He's Steve Smith. His will, determination and drive are what separates him from every other WR in the NFL.

When Smith was asked if the Raiders were specifically one of the teams he might wish to play for is he was not in the Panthers' future plans-
"Every entertainer in the process of their job has a vision of performing in front of their home crowd, especially if they live farther away from home," Smith said. "I have always loved the privilege and the honor of playing in the state of California. But I don't desire to be employed by every team in the state of California."
